Summer Backpack Drive

Sierra Vista had an incredibly successful year in its mission to gather back-to-school supplies for the upcoming school year! This heartwarming endeavor was made possible through the generosity of businesses and our wonderful community.

Our gratitude extends to our local Target, JCPenney, Valley First Credit Union, Macy’s, Flowers Baking Company, Honey’s Air and Solar, and all of those whose contributions played a pivotal role in the success of our backpack drive. With our community’s support, we collected over 500 backpacks and school supplies to go in them.

In a fantastic partnership with Vintage Faire Mall’s Back-To-School Bash Backpack Drive, we received over 120 backpacks, all destined for students in need. This collaborative effort exemplifies the strength of our community when it comes together to support education.

The overwhelming response to our backpack drive fills us with hope and optimism. It reinforces our belief that we can create brighter futures for our students when we stand together. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in this meaningful initiative, ensuring that no child starts the school year unprepared. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of these young learners, providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
